What to expect

Choose from soft-tops and hard-tops. We'll help you pick the right size for your level and the day's conditions.

If you're new, a lesson is safer and you'll progress much faster. Board rental is for surfers who can paddle out and catch waves on their own.

Both are available. Tell us your level and we'll suggest one.

Varkala has waves year-round. November to March is best for beginners; June to September brings bigger monsoon swell for experienced surfers.
